Elizabeth B. Day's Obituary
Elizabeth Biggerstaff Day, 91, passed away November 16, 2017. She was born January 9, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Day, Sr.; son, Thomas William Day; and siblings, Mary Watson and Edward Biggerstaff. She is survived by her sons, Ralph E. Day, Jr. (Margie) and David A. Day (Beth); five grandchildren; one step-grandson; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was active with the Boy Scouts and Bartlett Garden Club; worked as a school secretary; and creative with crafts, especially Hares and Bears. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 20 at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Monday at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Boy Scout Troop 255 at Bartlett United Methodist Church.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
