I’m a former employee of Memphis Children’s Clinc and worked with Dr. Andrew for 7yrs. Words cannot describe the gratitude and aprreciation that I have for you. You taught me a lot that I continue to use today. Even at my current job when I saw you I would light up and you welcomed me with open arms at each visit. You will forever be missed.Ericka Covington

I also worked many years ago at Memphis Children’s Clinic with Dr. Andrew. She was a favorite of mine. She was an excellent doctor and friend. Her patients loved her just as she did all of them. I was so saddened to here of her passing.
I worked at Memphis Childrens Clinic many years…….She was a beautiful person and mentor. I was to meet with her on Wednesday April 8th……….2pm……………….My husband and I traveled from Apollo Beach, Florida a little too late…..Peace and sincerest sympathy to the family. She loved and was loved by everyone that had the opportunity to know her in any capacity……
The following was written to Bethie the night before she died. I did not know at the time that she wanted her ashes to be scattered on Cape Cod. 4/4/15 Dear Bethie, I want you to know that you are a wonderful woman and person. You have touched the lives of so many people that you are simply incredible. You do not deserve to have deteriorated to the husk that you are now. You have had so much courage and fortitude to get this far with as much equanimity as you have. If there is a heaven, you will be going there. If there is an afterlife, you will be in the best possible place. I envision you settling on a beautiful small farm on Cape Cod with a seaside view and a perfect garden in the back of the house with a rosebush hedge to separate the house from the street. Your legacy is also this beautiful home that you have created with your incredible blueberry bushes and lovely landscaping. You are also leaving behind a wonderful man who has loved you and supported you through all these trying times. Your cats are beautiful and will look after Thad. Thad has a good family who will also look after him. You have a mother, brothers and sisters who will miss you sorely. We wish that you have not had to suffer. We love you. Please say hello to all the people that we know in heaven when you get there. Love, Susie
