Elise Perry Bone's Obituary
Elise Perry Bone was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on March 23, 1953, to Clarice Perry and John William Perry. Her family later moved to Jackson, TN, when she was a child. She graduated from the University of Arkansas and moved to Little Rock, AR. In 1979 she became a buyer for Dillards Department Stores. She moved to Germantown, TN, in 1984 where she was in marketing with Poag and McEwen. She married in 1986 and soon started a family.
She began working at Senior Services (now Meritan) on January 1,1996 and retired on February 16, 2016. At Meritan she was Director of Development and coordinated their largest fundraiser, the highly successful Midnight Bike Ride for many years. She was a PTA member of Dogwood Elementary and Houston Middle School. She organized the annual Spring Fling at Dogwood Elementary for several years.
Elise was a member of the American Society of Aging and served as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Memphis chapter for two consecutive terms.
Elise was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks sports fan, particularly football and basketball. She enjoyed watching games with her parents and her son. She enjoyed many friendships and business relationships over the years.
She was an active member of Germantown United Methodist Church for many years and was always guided by her faith in Jesus Christ. She is survived by her son, Josh Bone, and her brother, John Perry.
Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025, at Germantown United Methodist Church, 2331 S. Germantown Rd. Germantown, TN, 38138. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
