Egon B. Mischke's Obituary
Egon B. “Eric” Mischke, 74, passed away October 26, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held on Monday, November 1 at the Church of the Incarnation with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery. Born in Rummelsburg, Germany, Egon came to the United States in 1956 and served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a skilled manager, specializing in electrical, mechanical, and quality management. Egon leaves his wife, Elizabeth; son, Paul Mischke of Collierville; and daughter, Erika (finance, Christopher Primeaux) of Maurice, LA. Egon also leaves many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews in Hannover, Germany including two brothers, Jürgen Mischke (Heidi) and Dieter Mischke (Gertrude); and two sisters, Waltraud Gander (Norbert) and Andrea Probst (Michael). In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Church of the Incarnation.
