Effie Earline Foster's Obituary
Effie Earline Foster, 83, of Michie,TN died on January 14, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Michie, TN, and retired from the ITT Phone Company of Corinth, MS after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest P. Foster; a cherished son, Bobby Foster, who resided in Michie, TN; and her beloved parents, Marlin and Myrtle W. Baker, who also resided in Michie, TN. She leaves to honor her memory a daughter, Janice Gray, (Freddie) of Michie, TN ; three brothers, David Baker of Michie, TN; Joe Baker of Thompson, GA; and George Paul Baker of Jacksonville, FL; five sisters, Virgie Harrell of Michie, TN, Fran Nelms of Naples, FL; Jane Austin of Savannah, TN; Cholie Rose of Gallatin, TN; and Ann Johnson of Iuka, MS; four grandchildren, Shawn Gray, Jeff Foster, Janie Foster and Tammy Fowler; and six great-grandchildren, Annabelle Gray, Griffin Gray, Lauren Foster, Emily Foster, Shelby Fowler, and Tyler Fowler. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Michie, TN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 Friday, January 18, 2013 and will be conducted at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
