Edwina Kidd's Obituary
Edwina R. Kidd, 86, of Memphis, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at St Francis Hospital. Mrs. Kidd was a member of Leawood Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 25 years. She worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis for 33 years. When she retired, she was the Head Nurse of the EENT Clinic. She was also a member of the Mended Hearts Group at St Francis Hospital. Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Clinton Robbins Kidd; a sister, Alta Eudora Conrad; and a brother, Dr. James Egbert Ragsdale. She is survived by her daughter, Frances “Frankie” Bandy (John) of Bartlett, and her son Edwin Kidd (Sandra) of Maysville, GA; and her brother, Dr. Julian Leon Ragsdale of Vista, CA; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010, from 5-8 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Memorial Park.
