Edwin Trent Riggins' Obituary
Edwin Trent Riggins died peacefully April 26. Trent was born in Memphis in 1958. He lived a happy life in Memphis. Trent graduated from Memphis University School and Millsaps College before starting a career as a pharmaceutical rep and in sales. Trent was an avid swimmer, cyclist and runner, competing in triathlons and races including the New York City Marathon. Among his hobbies were a love for cooking and scuba diving and for collecting pieces of American history, especially coins. Trent was an attendee of First Evangelical Church. He leaves one daughter, Lee Riggins (Nick), two sons, John and Austin, three brothers, Rod (Phyllis), Tim (Mary Pat), and Rick (Kitti) and one uncle, Bill Crass (Rosie). Trent spent the latter part of his life caring for his mother, Lee Riggins.
Services will be Saturday, April 29 at First Evangelical Church, 735 Ridge Lake Blvd, with visitation at 2:00 pm and a memorial service at 3:00 pm.
