Edward Joyner Wingfield's Obituary
Edward Joyner Wingfield, 74, passed away on January 29, 2015. Ed was a compassionate and caring man. He retired from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Wingfield, one daughter, Mary Margaret Burnett, one son, Ben Wingfield, a sister, Virginia Hiett, and six grandchildren, Mary Holland, Sam and Eliza Burnett, Abby, Matt, and Kate Wingfield. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 2, at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 2425 S. Germantown Rd. Germantown, TN. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
