Edna Fuller's Obituary
Edna Shumaker Fuller, 94, went to be with her Lord September 3, 2010. She was born May 28, 1916 in Heinz County, Mississippi and was the last surviving child of William and Carrie Shumaker. She was a government employee for over 30 years and was retired from the Memphis Defense Depot. She was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church and was a longtime member of Southland Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She loved sports and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Fuller. She was a loving Christian mother to her children, Carol Fuller Hutchens (Eddie) of Statesboro, GA; C.R. “Rick” Fuller (Barbara) of Memphis; Beverly Fuller Cox of Memphis; and Mamaw to five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and services will be Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
