Dylan Carlisle Nichols' Obituary
Our sweet baby boy, Dylan Carlisle Nichols was born at just 25 weeks, 15 weeks too early. He came into this world at only 11 1/4 inches long and weighing 1 pound 4.8 ounce. He was born March 15th, 2016 in Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee. He spent 6 weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU) where he had the most amazing Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses doing everything they could to help heal him. We, his family, built strong relationships/friendships with those who cared for our sweet Dylan. Everyone who knew Dylan couldn’t help but love him. Although he only lived 45 days, his short life touched many. He drew people together forging friendships that would last forever. He brought families together and allowed for faith building lessons, softened hearts, and so much more that I can’t explain. On April 29th 2016 we, now family and friends, released our perfectly sweet baby boy into the arms of his Loving Father in Heaven. There he will be greeted by countless loved ones who have passed on and a very special Grandpa, Keith Hamilton. Although his body is being laid to rest his spirit lives on and can be seen in the pictures that were taken and the lives that he has changed. He is survived by his parents Gary Ray Nichols and Mandi LaReese Hamilton Nichols, his siblings Jacobey, Meghan, Autumn, Chase, and George Nichols, and many Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12096 Arlington Trail, Arlington, TN 38002. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
