Dudley H. Lamb's Obituary
Dudley H. Lamb, Jr., 81, of Memphis, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Dianne Scott Lamb; daughter, Stacie; parents, Flora and Dudley Lamb; and sister, Dianne Gaskin. He is survived by his children, daughter, Suzanne Hurst (Charles) of Memphis, son, Scott Lamb (Gail) of Jackson, Mississippi; and grandchildren Ross Hurst (Audrey), Caroline Hurst, Grayson Lamb and Grant Lamb. He also leaves great-granddaughter, Sophia Dianne Kaliveas and sister Frances Couch. He also leaves behind his loyal caretakers who provided love and comfort over a number of years. He was stationed in Germany during his service in the Army. Dudley spent much of his career as the Director of Credit at Holiday Inns, Inc., and continued his career as President of TeleCheck Mid-America. He and his wife, Dianne, always enjoyed world travel and upon his retirement, built a business dealing with antiques. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery.
