I only met Dre and his family this year, and we became easy and fast friends. Dre was funny, wise beyond his years, and loved the people in his life so sweetly. I am so heartbroken, and reminding myself to hold onto the faith that Dre so easily leaned on. Will miss him terribly.
When meeting Dre and his precious family at Blue Skies retreat last summer, his smile and spirit was infectious. Meeting him and his family was a true gift and blessing. Thank you, Sherice and Dre, for blessing our family.
I met Dre's family on a Blue Skies Trip in June of 2024. I ran into them again at the Atlanta United Game, Thumbs Up Mission, and Gladiators game. I dragged his mom to Quiet Heroes in May. Dre would tell me about working at Chick fila or how his baby sister kept him up at night. I will miss "running into him" checking in on how he was feeling, but most of all I'll miss his upbeat attitude towards the hardship he carried. A beautiful soul.

Words cannot fully capture how special you were. Strong, amazing, and always respectful , your strength was an inspiration to everyone who knew you. You will be truly missed, but your spirit and the memories you gave us will live on forever in our hearts. Auntie Bre ❤️❤️
My favorite memory of Dre, is when I had the pleasure of meeting him and his Mother at Bass Pro Shop with our Football players Bowling. He showed me how to use a special feature on my phone that I had no idea existed. The way he carried himself, spoke, and came across as one of the most brilliant special people you would be lucky to meet in your lifetime. He will be missed and I’m grateful I had the chance to meet him.

When I think of the word courageous I think about Dre. It was never time I saw him sad or upset. He was always upbeat and very knowledgeable. Thank you Sherice for sharing Dre with us and thank you for your friendship and love. Always #DreStrong
