Doyle Harris' Obituary
Doyle W. Harris passed away Sunday, July 3, at Baptist Hospital, Collierville. Mr. Harris was a retired General Foreman with Memphis Light, Gas and Water. He served in the US Army during WWII in the European theater. Mr. Harris was a member of Lindenwood Christian Church and was an avid golfer. Mr. Harris was born in Crockett Mills, TN on June 15, 1927. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Ann Harris, his son Danny R. Harris, his parents Cap and Lora Harris and one brother and two sisters. He is survived by 4 grandsons, Chris Harris (Shannon) Collierville; Brandon Harris (Autumn) Oakland; Philip Harris (Rheagan) Germantown; Stephen Harris (Britney) Collierville, and 9 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 7, at 1:30 with funeral service to follow at 2:30 at Memorial Park 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN. Burial service will follow at Memorial Park Southwoods located at 5485 Hacks Cross Road Memphis, TN
