Doyce passed away while surrounded by loving family here on earth on the evening of August 28, 2022. He was a dedicated Christian man who met his wife while stationed in the Air Force in Amarillo, TX. After leaving the Air Force, he was a lineman for Arkansas Power & Light (later Entergy) where he retired after 30+ years as an electrical engineer. He was a resilient warrior over the years to fight many illnesses which began with a major heart attack at the age of 30. After this, his life was encompassed with work, family, church, school classmates, pets and a few hobbies such as wood working, gardening/landscaping/hummingbirds, THE RAZORBACKs and eventually world travel. He was always a close friend to those around him and he saw so many individuals as key members of his “family”. Doyce and Betty enjoyed many global experiences during their 57 years together on trips to the Caribbean, Europe, all of N. America, Hawaii & Africa. The family lived most of their years in the Hot Springs, AR area while spending the last 20+ years in the Memphis metropolitan area.
