My Uncle taught me about the internet and modern day computing. He also taught me about big band, jazz,lounge, show tunes, Motown, and all types of music. All of these things I use in my profession as a disc jockey to this day. Ñever underestimate the influence you have on others. Ret in peace Uncle Doug.
I absolutely enjoyed listening to his stories of family, spending time with him on the patio letting him reminisce of his life. I was grateful to share conversations that he didn’t always have with anyone. I saw the vulnerable side of Doug, and I’m proud to have known that side of him. Although troubled, he had a special love for his daughter and siblings that he never knew how to convey. He was a charismatic creature with charm. His love for animals was like no other I will miss him greatly.
