Douglas James Harcrow's Obituary
Douglas James Harcrow, 52, of Savannah, TN passed away April 24, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital-Jackson, TN. He was born June 6, 1959 in Buffalo, New York and resided in Goshen, IN, attended school at St. Colletta’s-Jefferson, Wisconsin. Doug was greatly loved and survived by his mother, Sandra Harcrow; sister, Lynn Marie Harcrow, Waterville, OH; brother, Lloyd John Harcrow of Portland. OR; nephews, Jeffrey and John Alheim; was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Eugene Harcrow; and sister, Diane Kathryn Harcrow. He will be missed by many family and friends that he cherished and enjoyed. Doug loved all people at his own group home, Hardin County Skills Center-Savannah, TN, he had special love for his caretakers who showed him kind and loving care in return. He never forgot a person he encountered, always grateful and appreciated any thoughtfulness shown to him. Doug loved his records and especially trains. Everyone loved Doug, may you rest in peace. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Memorial Park Funeral Home-Memphis. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Special Kids, 2965 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133 in Doug’s memory.
