Dorothy Starr Strong's Obituary
Dorothy Starr Strong, 79, passed away January 21st at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Dessie and William H. Starr, sister Mildred Pullen, husband William C. Strong, and son Wyatt W. Strong. She is survived by her brother William H. Starr Jr. (Martha), sister Evelyn Mason, sons; Stephen A. Strong (Jean) of Collierville, David W. Strong (Jamie) of Germantown, daughter-in-law Teresa Strong of Somerset, KY., grandchildren; Scott, Shelby, Jordan, Ashley and Miranda and great-granddaughter Hailey. Many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends will miss her. Dorothy was a 1947 graduate of Treadwell High School and was retired from Parry Furniture. She was a long time member of Colonial Park Methodist Church.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery with a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to Wings Foundation at West Clinic or Methodist Germantown Hospice.
