Dorothy Ruth Eichhorn Romeo departed this life on July 4, 2025 in Madison, Alabama.
She was born August 11, 1928 in DuQuoin, Illinois to the late John and Ruth Richardson Eichhorn.
Mrs. Romeo is survived by two sons, Richard Romeo and John Romeo (June); a daughter-in-law, Shelley Romeo; four grandchildren, Kathryn Romeo Grimsley (David), John Romeo (Christine), Jeffrey Romeo, Laura Romeo Pierce (Michael), Whitney Romeo, Bradley Romeo, and Matthew Romeo; and four great grandchildren, Tahlia, Gavin, Christian, and Liam.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vito Romeo, and one son, Robert Romeo.
