Dorothy Craig Pittman's Obituary
Dorothy Craig Pittman, 88, went to be with the Lord December 8, 2014. She was born March 11, 1926 to William C. and Anna May Craig of Memphis. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William B. Craig. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Ray C. Pittman Sr., son; Ray C Pittman Jr, (Doris) of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter Pamela J. Belluomini (Gary) of Lake Jackson, TX; son Craig I Pittman (Susan) of Collierville; Robert B Pittman (Lisa) of Lakeland, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She graduated from Southside High School, worked briefly for the Federal Reserve Bank and Oliver Finnie Company prior to her marriage. Being a Navy wife she lived up and down both coasts following her husband’s deployments. She returned to Memphis in late 1955 when her husband left the Navy.Family will receive friends at Memorial Park on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 1:30-2:30p.m., with Funeral service to immediately follow at 2:30. The Interment will take place Friday, December 12, 2014 at West TN Veterans Cemetery at 10:15 on Forrest Hill Irene RD.
