Dorothy Patrick's Obituary
Dorothy S. Patrick, 88, passed away on October 25, 2016. She was born July 13, 1928 in Searcy, AR. Dorothy joins many family members in heaven including her husband, Harvey D. Patrick; sister, Ann S. Bowen; and grandson, Philip D. Patrick. Left behind on earth are her two sons, Mark H. Patrick (Julie) and Jeffrey L. Patrick (Tammy); six grandchildren, Daniel Patrick (Rhonda), Lori Graham (Tim), Paul Patrick (Chelsey), Brooke Bridges (Ryan), Angela Patrick, and Dillon Patrick; one great-grandson, Connor Graham; one sister, Frances Gandy of Memphis, TN and one brother, William Smith of Searcy, AR; and many beloved nieces and nephews.Dorothy was a Sunday school teacher for more than fifty years beginning at Kensington Baptist Church and most recently at First Baptist Church, Collierville, TN, where she was a member. While Dorothy was a woman of faith, busy working in her church and in her home, she was also a career woman working as an executive secretary for Rader Systems for more than 30 years. The family asks that any memorials or honorariums be donated to the Memphis Union Mission, P.O. Box 1938, Memphis, TN 38101-1938.The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
