Dorothy J. Loyd's Obituary
Dorothy Jordan Loyd, 94, of Inverness, MS, formerly of Memphis and Piperton, TN, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011. She was a life long member of Union Avenue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN; additionally, she was a member of the Gleaner’s Bible Class and of the Women on Missions. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 51 years, Steve C. (Ike) Loyd. Funeral services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue, in Memphis, at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 29, with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, (901)767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”.
