Dorothy Dwyer's Obituary
Dorothy Gonya Dwyer, 89, of Southerland Place of Germantown, TN formerly of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, at Methodist Hospice Residence-Memphis. She was a retired secretary, homemaker, was a member of St. Marks The Evangelist Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, Florida where she was a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church-Germantown, TN. She was also a volunteer at Longwood Regional Hospital in Fort Pierce. Mrs. Dwyer also lived in Indonesia for 11 years. Mrs. Dwyer was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Joseph Dwyer; brother, Joseph Gonya; sister, Doris Stalvey; and is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Newbern of Germantown, Diane Laroche of Berlin, New Hampshire; son, William Dwyer of Berlin, New Hampshire; sister, Ruth Cellupica and Pauline Blanchette both of Berlin New Hampshire; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, September 28, 2012 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church-Berlin, New Hampshire with the viewing to be held from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. The interment will follow at St. Kieran’s Cemetery-Berlin, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be sent to Southerland Place-Germantown or Methodist Hospice Residence-Memphis.
