Dorothy Cannon's Obituary
DOROTHY ANN McBRIDE CANNON died on February 13, 2011 in Memphis, TN. She was born on December 3, 1926 in Denver, CO. She raised four children and was blessed with seven grandchildren. Her education included a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Denver University and a Master’s of Science from the University of Memphis. Dorothy was a much beloved and respected science teacher at St. Agnes Academy and Memphis University School, retiring after over thirty years of teaching. She was a long time member of The Church of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday February 16, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. Visitation from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the church. Dorothy is survived by two children, Michael Cannon and Kerry Cannon Snyder, son-in-law, Matt Synder, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Cannon Bradley and seven grandchildren, Benjamin Cannon, Vanessa Cannon, Christopher Cannon, Jennifer Lipson, Cat Snyder, Ashley Snyder and Jennifer Anderson.
