Doris L. Wright, 86, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 in Norfolk, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis W. Wright, Sr., founder of Pinecrest Pet Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Donna Baker of Selmer, TN, William R. Wright of Memphis, Edward M. Wright, of St. Louis, MO, Marian W. Wallace, of Farnham, VA, Travis W. Wright, II, of Olive Branch, MS and Anita W. Bennett of Memphis, TN. She leaves 13 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren; as well as one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:30 on Friday, November 11, 2011, with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 PM both at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
