Doris Eudine Williams Tillman's Obituary
Doris Eudine Williams Tillman, 86, of Memphis, died peacefully, July 28, 2009 at her home.Mrs. Tillman was a member of Raleigh United Methodist Church for over 53 years where she was a member of the Parker Fellowship Class and the United Methodist Women’s Rebecca Circle. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Aubrey Tillman; and one son Aubrey Joe Tillman; two sisters and 4 brothers. Mrs. Tillman is survived by her son Dr. Ronald Clyde Tillman and his wife Melody of Jackson, TN; two daughters Regina Glissen of Memphis and Brenda Louise Tillman and her husband Lesslie of Bartlett, and one daughter-in-law Sharon O’Neal Tillman of Navesink, NJ. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Mark L Glissen, Tammy L. Glissen, Jeff Glissen, Heather Glissen, Randy Glissen, Andrea Tillman Gleason, Tricia Tillman Romano, and Aubrey Joe Tillman, Jr.; seven great grandchildren Kayla Glissen, Jae Glissen, Molly Payton, Noelle Gleason, Amber Gleason, Emma Jo Gleason, and Molly Lynn Gleason. Mrs. Tillman also leaves 2 brothers Marshall Williams (Bert) of Bethalto, IL, Clyde Williams (Barbara) of Slidell, La, and 2 sisters Daisy Milam of Memphis and Faye Williams Nelson of Woodriver, IL, as well as many extended family members, and friends.Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park in the Riverside Chapel. A visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.The family requests that memorials be sent to Raleigh United Methodist Church.
