Doris E. Hedgepeth's Obituary
Doris E. Hedgepeth, 68, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends at the visitation service from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20. The funeral service will be the following morning, March 21, at 10 a.m., followed by the burial. Both the visitation and funeral services will take place at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Ms. Hedgepeth was retired from Haverty’s Furniture Store and an active member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Jeff, Russ, and Jason Hedgepeth; sisters, Earldine Fortune, Betsy R. Ham, Rose A. Cunningham, and Ruth H. Dolan; brothers, Ernest A., James E., and John H. Jolly; and grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Michael, Daniel, Anna, Will, Adam, Jake, and Tyler. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed dancing and volunteering. The family requests that memorials be directed to Life Choices of Memphis, where she volunteered often.
