Doris Beall's Obituary
Doris Kathleen Beall, affectionately referred to as “Granny” passed away on September 17, 2014, five days shy of her 92nd birthday. Our beloved mother was the heart of our family. She gave so much and asked for so little. Her quick wit charmed us and her true grit inspired us. Known as the card shark of the Monarch, her group of poker friends will greatly miss getting “beat like a drum” by Granny. Her husband of 66 years, Coach Bill Beall, passed away in November, 2013. They were both veterans of WWII and met when she was a store keeper on a base who issued his fighter pilot jacket. She is survived by their three sons, Billy (Rosalyn), Phil (Rebecca), and Charlie (Kaye), one daughter, Belinda Raines, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her two sisters, Sally and Betty. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The funeral service will follow immediately after visitation at 11:30. All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
