Donna Kaye Carman's Obituary
On September 28, 2025, Donna Kaye Carman of Memphis, Tennessee, went to her Heavenly home. Born on March 6, 1952, Donna was truly one of God's chosen angels on earth. After an accident at the age of 17 limited her to a wheelchair, Donna went on to become Miss Wheelchair Tennessee, earn a degree in computer processing, and work for the City of Memphis as a maintenance computer programmer. Throughout her life, she devoted her time to helping others, volunteering at the VA, the center for Independent Living, and the American Red Cross. Despite her physical challenges, Donna was the light in every room she entered. She uplifted everyone around her and never complained. She was steadfast in her faith, a prayer warrior for others, and a shining example of her Savior's love. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Carlos "Ray" Carman and E. Louise Carman, and by her sister-in-law, Jane Carman. She leaves behind an aunt, Mary Ferguson of Conway, Arkansas, three brothers, Mark Carman of Pocahontas, Arkansas, John (Susan) Carman of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Steve (Caroline) Carman of Memphis, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Donna's caregivers, especially Stephanie Gentile for her loving care.
Donations may be made to the American Red Cross or Church Health Center.
