Donald M. White's Obituary
Donald M. “Don” White, 84, passed away June 21, 2018. He was born December 19, 1933 in Braggadocio, MO. Don spent 33 years in Sales in the American Steel Industry and 30 years in Retail Sales. Don was active in his children’s school and church activities and spent 20+ years dedicating his time and leadership coaching youth athletics throughout the Catholic Diocese. He was a member of St. Ann Bartlett Catholic Church.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean Dandridge White; children, Keith White (Terri), Karen White Ayers (Mike) and John L. White (Veronica). Affectionately known as PawPaw, he had seven grandchildren, Abigail White and Anna Bell (Bailey), Kristin and Josh Ayers and Christina, Olivia and John L. White II.Preceded in death by his parents, LC and Ida Lee and three siblings, Mary, LC and Jeff. He is survived by his brother Joe White and sister Judy Stowe.Don was known by all for his wit, kindness, and infectious smile. Uncle Don, as he was known by his nieces and nephews, will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends.The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday June 25th at Memorial Park on Poplar Ave and Funeral Mass will be Tuesday June 26th at 2:00 pm at St. Ann Bartlett Catholic Church.
