Donald Santoro's Obituary
Donald William Santoro, 75, passed away January 5, 2010 at Methodist University Hospital. A memorial mass will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 8 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Visitation 1 hour prior. There will be a private entombment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Donald was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from FedEx. Donald was a dedicated volunteer for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for over 10 years. He also volunteered at Lichterman Nature Center. Donald was a die-hard NASCAR fan and was very active in Friendship Force. He is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Spencer; daughters, Kimberly Santoro Owens (William J., Jr.) and Vickie Louise Spencer (Shannon Rhodes); sons, Gregory Scott Spencer (Maxine) and Brady Thomas Spencer (Lisa); and grandchildren, Grady Spencer, Cody Spencer, Nicholas Spencer, Molly Fonseca, Sam Fonseca, Will Fonseca, Micheal Fonseca, Kaylee Holloway, Alexandra Spencer, Kaitlin Owens, Brendan Owens, and Zoe Isabella Spencer-Rhodes. The family requests memorials be sent to FedEx Le Bonheur Family House.
