Dr. Donald C Reynolds' Obituary
Dr. Donald C Reynolds, 96 of Germantown, a Professor Emeritus at the Southern College of Optometry, died Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Methodist
LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.
Dr. Reynolds was committed to teaching and was a graduate of the School of Optometry at the University of California Berkeley and the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. He was a member of the American Optometric Association and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
A California native, Dr Reynolds was a retired Commander in the Navy Medical Service Corps, he served 26 years before moving to Memphis in 1975. Dr Reynolds was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam.
Dr. Reynolds was the husband of the late Jacqueline A Reynolds. He is survived by his niece Cynthia Fulton of Olympia Washington.
In lieu of flowers, Dr Reynolds requested any memorials be sent to St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis.
Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
