I will always love you and cherish the times we shared… going to TN to stay at grandma and grandpas house growing up was such a fun memory to have even now. Also I am not his great grand daughter, I am his granddaughter. (Courtney)

My friend Don and I grew up together in the same farm neighborhood of Wirt, Indiana (Madison). Through the years, we attended North Madison school, played sports, attended Wirt Baptist church and worked together.
One of my distinct memories of young Don is watching him struggle with a team of un-cooperating mules pulling a mowing machine on their family farm. As Don yelled and yanked on the reins, the mules apparently had their own idea as to what direction to go. Although that was rather humorous to me, it seemed rather frustrating to young Don.
Through the years, Don and I re-connected and we've made a practice of keeping in touch via weekly phone calls. I'm happy to know that Don maintained a close relationship with his Lord and have no doubt as to where he resides today.
