What a joy it was to spend time with Uncle Don. There was always a smile on his face. I loved to hear his stories of growing up in Brazeau. My thoughts and prayers are with Megan, Erin and Gail With love and sympathy, Lesley Knox, Mark, Jeffrey, Dana, and Keira
It was my good fortune to have worked with Don at 3M for more than 20 years. Don was a great friend, a true gentleman, and a very gifted businessman. My life is richer for having known him, and I treasure the memories of our friendship.
I have worked at harwell/Henson dist. corp . for 37 years have many fond memories of don and merle ham Hamilton they were a pair of men that I really looked up to as examples of how to enjoy your job JOHN TATE
Don and Jane Woods and all of your friends at 3M purchased the Blooming Garden Basket for the family of Donald Lee Knox.
Don was my first trainer when I went into the field in 1966 and was by far the most important guy I ever worked with. We were friends from the beginning. I will miss him and all his words of wisdom. He is up there teeing off as I write this and it will be all pars and birdies from now on.. Don has trained and helped good solid sales guys move on and upward within 3M and I don’t know of any bad ones that he sponsered.He will be missed by me and every body that knew him,rest in peace old friend. When I think of the word salesman, I see Don’s face. I learned a great deal about selling and how to deal with people from Don. He was always there to help sales reps, young and old. I always valued his advice and views.He was so proud of his family and really enjoyed sharing stories about them. What a wonderful family man!
