Don was truly a genuine man. Whenever I would be in his company he always asked about me and my family and was always very interested. He cared about everything and everyone. He enjoyed life to its fullest. 90 years old and parasailing? I'm in my 60's and you won't catch me doing that!
Don's laugh was so hearty and strong and his heart was one of the biggest I've ever known. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. He and Lu were always so warm, funny, just awesome people and welcomed you with open arms.
They will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Chris, Ron and Family: What a wonderful tribute to a man whom I truly loved. After losing my own Dad almost 30 years ago, he became my Dad too, providing wisdom and guidance that I will always cherish. In many ways, he was very much like my own Dad so it was no surprise they became fast friends. He was a wonderful man from whom I learned much. It has always been my honor and privilege to help care for Dad, Mom and Jack these past years. I take solace in the fact that we were able to bring some happiness where there may have been some suffering. Dad had a good run, 95 years worth of life well lived. Godspeed and God Bless you Don Glowen; “Dad”!
