Don Lopez's Obituary
Don Lopez, age 82, passed away in his home after a long illness on Saturday, September 23, 2017. He was born on September 1, 1935 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Charles and Marguerite Lopez. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bettye Pierini Lopez.He was a very kind, generous and loving husband, father and grandfather. He always reached out to help someone in need.Don is survived by his three children, Leigh Myers (Tim), Don J. Lopez, and Teresa Young all of Memphis. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.He retired from Kellogg’s Memphis Plant after 35 years of service.The family would like to express their gratitude to all our family, friends and Dr. Douglas O’Dea and staff for making their Dad’s last several months comfortable.
