Diana Marie Wagner Veneklase's Obituary
Diana Marie Wagner Veneklase, 84, of Byhalia MS, passed away peacefully on January
27, 2026.
Diana was born on October 31, 1941, to Anton and Alice Wagner. She lived a full and
meaningful life defined by love, resilience, and devotion to family and friends. Diana had a gentle spirit, unconditional love for all, a sharp wit, and was proudly known by many as Grandma or Mrs. V.
Diana is survived by her children, Scott (Wendy) Veneklase, Christy Veneklase and Jon
Veneklase; her grandchildren, Anthony (Hayden) Veneklase, Brooke (Chris) Carrier,
Chad Veneklase and Nick Veneklase; her great- grandchildren, Greyson Veneklase,
Holden Veneklase and William Carrier; siblings Anton (Jane) Wagner, Robert (Sandy)
Wagner, Dave Wagner, Donald Wagner and Darlene (Mike) Smith; and a host of nieces,
nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth
Veneklase, her daughter Cynthia Veneklase, and her sister, Deborah Carlson.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on February 13, 2026, at 1:00 until 1:45 PM, with a burial service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be given to Pearl’s House (5410 Brantford Ave
Memphis TN 38117), the caregiver home that showered Diana with love, dignity and
care during the past 6 months.
Diana’s memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so free.
