Dessie Eubanks Marr's Obituary
Dessie Eubanks Marr 90, was born in Bristol, Florida on November 20, 1924, to Bertus Eubanks and Berdye Turner Eubanks. She passed away October 23, 2015. Dessie was a graduate of Moody School of Nursing and Charity at New Orleans. Born to a rather large family, Dessie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Wilhoit. She has two living sisters, Doris and Betty along with brothers Silas and Johnny. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Bill of 65 years and her precious daughter Billy Jo. She also leaves her son, Bill and his wife Sharon; her grandson, Blake and his wife Laura and her son-in-law, Doug McNabb. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm immediately followed by funeral services at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Her request was that memorials be made to the music department of Covenant Baptist Church or Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.Her services have been trusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis TN, 38119. “Honoring Lives Behind the Stone Wall.”
