Dennie Joe Wade's Obituary
DENNIE J. WADE, 49, died Monday, August 6, 2012, after a short illness. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Friday, August 10 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with services following at 4 p.m. Dennie was preceded in death by his mother, Donna J. Wade, his grandparents, Richard and Velma Bennett, James William and Nova Wade. He is survived by his father, Larry E. Wade, (Theresa), step-sisters, Melissa Combs and Jennifer Brunetz, his loving Godmother, Jo Ellen Schaeffer Beuhler and her children, Ashleigh Morgan and Thomas R. Campbell Jr., his aunts, Nova Sticht (Michael), and Joyce Chushman (Jimmy), uncles, Tom Wade (Sandra), Trey Wade (Larinda) and Bobby Wade, Dennie was a well known floral artist in Memphis for many years. He had been partners in Flowers and Things, Dennie Wade Florist, and Fine Gifts, Ramsey’s Flowers, and A Flower Galleria. He did parties for Prince, Boy George, Madonna, Reba McIntyre, Bette Midler, Tina Turner, Brooks and Dunn, former Presidents Bill Clinton, George Bush, Sr., and George Bush, Jr. He traveled corporately for Contemporary Group out of St. Louis, Amway, Princess Cruise Lines and Federal Express. He truly felt that he accomplished his dreams as an artist! He was a founding member for Friends for Life. “Dennie always enjoyed helping other people accomplish their goals in life and bringing smiles to their faces. Flowers were his life”. Flowers are more than welcomed and memorials may be given to “Friends for Life”.
