Delma "Nanny" Aday's Obituary
Delma C. Aday, 88, went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2009, after a brief illness. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had been a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church for over 50 years and was the owner of Quatomatic/Jack the Stripper Company.Delma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Aday and is survived by her children John R. “Rick” Aday (Martha) of Memphis, Dawn Jourdan (Steve), Dale Aday Wardlaw, and Steven Val Aday, all of Southaven, MS. She also leaves two brothers, ten grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009, with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., all being held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Whitehaven Baptist Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
