Delilah Christine Clark's Obituary
Delilah Christine “Chris” Clark passed away July 30, 2022 in Memphis TN. She was born June 23, 1931 to Joe Finney Umber and Jessie Cumi Griffin Umber in Oklahoma. A graduate of Crawfordville Arkansas High School in 1950, Delilah went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee College of Health Sciences and was always very proud of her association with the University of Tennessee. She loved her job and she worked in the pathology department conduction research at the UTCHS for over 25 years. She loved to bake, travel and had a love for animals especially kitties.
Delilah is survived by her husband Walter whom she marries on June 23, 1952, as well as her son Miles Clark (Janice), sister Elwanda Tatum and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday August 3 at 1:00 with a visitation starting at 12:00 on the same day at Memorial Park Funeral Home 5668 poplar Ave Memphis, Tn 38119.
