Debra Lynn Maxwell's Obituary
Debra Lynn Maxwell, 65, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. Debra was the daughter of Royal Maxwell and Louise Gee, residing in Memphis, TN. She was an avid bowler, lover of people and animals, and an active Christian and life-long member of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ (formerly Raleigh Church of Christ). Ms. Maxwell graduated from Kingsbury High School in 1972 and attained a Business Administration certification. She was an administrative professional at Parts Incorporated for 24 years followed by 7 years at Kotler Pest Control and 5 years at K-Mart. She is preceded in death by her father, Royal Maxwell and stepfather, Thomas Gee. Ms. Maxwell is survived by her mother, Louise Gee; brother, Thomas (Betty) Gee; sisters, Vicki (James) Joyner and Deborah Ann Gee. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews including Cindy (Ronald) Skala, David Gee, Michelle (Brian) Wilburn, Rachel (Joseph) Knight, Melissa (Jason) Kennedy, Michael (Ann) Cooke, and Sarah (Justin) Walsh in addition to 12 great nieces and nephews. She was adored by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19 from 11:00-12:00 p.m. at Bartlett Woods Church of Christ, 7900 Old Brownsville Rd. Arlington, TN 38002The funeral service will follow the visitation at the church immediately at 12:00 p.m.Burial will follow the funeral in Memorial Park Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery “Celebrating Life…Behind the Stone Wall”
