Debbie Lawson McAdams' Obituary
Debbie Lawson McAdams, 65, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McAdams, parents, Doris Edwards and Glenn Lawson and a brother, Kenneth Lawson.Debbie is survived by her children, Brian Whitworth and his wife Michelle, Tanya Holmes and her husband Paul and Sherry Hewett, seven grandchildren, Cassie Hudson and her husband Chade Woods, Christian Whitworth, Chasity Hewett, Kaylyn Dancy, Jenna Dancy, Breana Hewett and Maelane’ Holmes, eight great-grandchildren, five siblings, Glenda Hagood, Julie Young, Bubba Smith, Tamara Matthews and Glenn Lawson, Jr. and a beloved companion, Greg Respess.Debbie was young at heart, often not acting her age. She loved God, playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and cross stitching. Christmas was her favorite holiday because she loved to have the family over to enjoy her baking and cooking. She could be often heard saying “Don’t worry about me” to most any question or situation.The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 28th from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that donations be made to Colorectal Cancer Alliance (http://ccalliance.org/).The family would also like to give a special thank you to Dr. Sailendra Vasireddy for his professionalism and his friendship through Debbie’s most recent illness.
