Rich Calvert
Dear Amos, Dawnie, Ashlin, and BrideyDebbie was a wonderful, caring lady. She offered me a smile during a time in my life when I most needed it. THAT I will never forget.During each visit, she would tell me the stories of her family, whether it was Amos at the paper, time spent with Dawnie, time at a park with Bridey, or her Irish connection with Ashlin. She and I traded stories on where to take kids for a fun outing. I’ll always think of Debbie when we are at the botanical gardens.I told my kids tonight how she was such a good person – who embraced honor, integrity, and character. I was often inspired by her sense of right and wrong.I’ll bet she has the best seats in the house now at the Tigers basketball games! The emptiness I feel at her loss is only filled by the joy I cherish in her memory and the knowledge that this isn’t “goodbye”, but “see you later”.You bless others every day by being true to who she believed you to be!Thanks for sharing her with us!Rich Calvert Debbie’s friend and customer for 18 years ()(
