David H. Wilson's Obituary
David H. Wilson, 53, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 11, 2016. He was born in Memphis, TN and graduated from Germantown High School. David had a life-long passion for law enforcement and would always be the first to help people in need. For 25 years he served as a Shelby County Deputy Sheriff and most recently in the Fugitive Division. He previously served as a police officer for the City of Germantown. David had a deep love for his mother, sister, and brothers and spending time with them. He especially treasured every moment spent with his daughter Mary Alexandra. David is survived by his daughter, Mary Alexandra Wilson of Memphis, TN; mother, Patricia Summerall of Collierville, TN; sister, Denise Bicknell (Lewis) of Rossville, TN; brothers, Steven Summerall (Charlene) of Franklin, TN and Robert Summerall (Jennifer) of Olive Branch, MS; nephews, Zachary Bicknell and Joshua Bicknell of Rossville, TN; nieces, Madison Bicknell of Rossville, TN, Reagan Summerall and Lydia Summerall both of Franklin, TN and girlfriend, Gail Ellis of Rossville, TN. He regularly attended Piperton Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until his funeral service begins at 1 p.m. Monday, February 15 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
