David Louis Williams' Obituary
David Louis Williams, 58, passed away at home on June 12, 2012 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. David, a lifelong Memphian, graduated from Trezevant High School and Memphis State University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis DeLynn Williams and Marilyn Kay Bailey Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Betty Gay Luton Williams; one son, Patrick and his wife, Kathleen of Lebanon, TN; and two daughters, Katy and Mandy, both of Cordova. Also left behind are his two grandchildren, Mikala and Mason Williams of Lebanon; two sisters, Carole Williams of Bartlett and Elizabeth Carpenter of Vandalia, IL; and one brother, Stephen Williams and his wife, Sharon of Como, MS. David was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sharing his love of the sport with family and friends. For over 20 years, Davis and his family were active members of Advent Presbyterian Church in Cordova. A celebration of life service will be held at Advent Presbyterian Church, 1879 N. Germantown Parkway, Cordova on Saturday, June 23 at 2 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to Advent Presbyterian Church.
