David Vitek's Obituary
David M. Vitek, age 45, passed away on December 18, 2019.
He is survived by his wife , Heather Vitek, daughter, Hailey, parents, Michael and Susan Vitek, Sedona, AZ, mother and father-in-law, Linda and Billy, Hearn, of Collierville, TN, brother and sister- in- law, Emily and Todd Weber, Las Vegas, NV, niece, Ella Weber, nephew, Harrison Weber, their Family dog, Kosmo, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
David was a pilot, filght instructor, check airmen, FAA designee for endeavor/Pinnacle/NorthWest Airlink Airlines for 19 years.
David was a member of the Wolf River Conservancy, Bluff City Canoe Club, National Rifle Association (NRA), Single Action Shooting Society (SASS).
He had many hobbies including being a guide for the Wolf River Conservancy, Kayaking, Canoeing, Swift Water Rescue, master scuba diver, cowboy action shooting. David loved hiking in Sedona, AZ., and traveling.
David graduated from the University of Memphis in 2000. He was a huge fan of the University of Wisconsin, Badgers and University of Memphis, Tigers. He loved his daughter Hailey and his miniature poodle, Kosmo.
Donations can be made in David's name to the Wolf River Conservancy, Ocean Conservancy, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the service celebrating his Life to follow the service at 11 a.m.
A graveside service will immediately follow the service.
The family will have a reception following the graveside service.
All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
