I am saddened and shocked about David’s passing. I have nothing but great memories of our days of playing ball together at St. John’s and his great personality and sense of humor. He was my dad’s dentist while I was in Atlanta all those years, and he loved him as well. He was a good man and we shared lots of laughs. I hate to admit this, but we actually were playing with matches when we were kids spending the night together, and accidentally burned up a big empty field in Parkway Village. Before I could even think, I turned around and David was all the way at the other end of the field, being the runner that he was. LOL. (I was always the slowest, having earned the nickname “Lead”. That’s just one of the memories I have and will always cherish. So long old friend, see you on the other side.
I first met David around 1963 @ St John School. I Thank God for every minute of our friendship.

So sad to lose a Lausanne dad. David was a tireless supporter of the cross country team for Lance and the boys. He was always there to drive the team to meets and cheer them on or run beside them in practice. The attached picture of Lance, Stefan and the boys was taken by David.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Always enjoyed his sense of humor. May he rest in peace.
