David Michael Gipson's Obituary
David Michael Gipson, 70, of Horn Lake, MS formerly of Memphis and Jackson, TN passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at his residence. He was a graduate of Messick High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from Bendix Corporation of Jackson, TN and Terex Company of Southaven, MS. Mr. Gipson was an avid sports fan supporting the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Tigers, Tennessee Vols, Atlanta Braves and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He also loved to fish, play golf and bowl. Mr. Gipson was a loving and caring father to his children that he leaves behind, Tina Gipson, Leslie Logan (Jeff) and Michael Gipson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alicia Michael, Tiffany Morris, Kelly Gipson, Parker Logan and Reagan Logan; great grandchildren, Lauren Gipson and Braxton Odle; former wife and close friend, Anne Gipson; brother, Tom Gipson (Diane); nephew, Tommy; and niece, Jenny. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2013 and a funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, January 4, 2013 both at Memorial Park Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
