David Sullivan Hunt's Obituary
David Sullivan Hunt, 71, passed away on January 2, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne Hunt. He also leaves behind his daughter, Jincy Hunt Smith (Matt) and two grandchildren, Hunt and Mary Virginia. David loved his family, work and all things Kentucky, but his passion was Kentucky basketball! David graduated from the University of Kentucky and he began his career as a Pharmacist in Bardstown, KY. He moved to Memphis in 1969 to help build Standard Construction Company with his late brother, Herbie. David was a devoted and loving husband to Dianne, considered to be the “greatest daddy ever” to Jincy and doting Big Daddy to his grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 6 from 12:00-1:00PM with the service to follow immediately. All services will be held at Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to UNOS.org (United Network for Organ Sharing).
