David Michael DiScenza's Obituary
David Michael DiScenza, 39, passed away February 10, 2014 at his home in Nashville, TN. David was a graduate of Christian Brothers High School, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Tennessee and Juris Doctorate from University of Memphis – Cecil H. Humphreys School of Law. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. David had been in private practice law in Memphis, Chattanooga, and Nashville. He currently served as Staff Attorney for Senior Judge Paul Summers in Nashville. A lifelong wildlife conservationist, David’s passions were fishing, camping, hiking, and the outdoors. David was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Ann Severino DiScenza and is survived by his father and step-mother, Timothy and Lisa DiScenza; brother, Timothy DiScenza, Jr.; step-sister, Lucy Jenkins (BJ); step-brother, Parker Grunkemeyer (Carrie); and grandmothers, Peggy DiScenza and Irene Severino. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the service begins at 1 p.m. Friday, February 14 at Calvary Episcopal Church, 102 N. Second St. Memphis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Calvary Episcopal Church or Nature Conservancy in Tennessee, 2021 21st. Ave. South, Ste.
